I am looking for some soft brake shoes. Currently using Raybestos
semi- metallic and these are not holding. This set up is off an 1976 Olds. Cutless (shoe #PB 363) and I have checked with Napa, AutoZone and Kragen but no luck on a different material.
Thanks,
Jeff

I got the soft shoes from Cotton for both my cars, and it holds 10 to 12 psi with powermonster and 28x9" MT slicks. Brake drum is tight on reinstall with shoes adjusted all the way in, and tap it on with a rubber mallet. Takes about 30 miles for the shoes to hold that boost.

Oops, I missed that on the 11" brakes, unless that is stock size drum. Shows how much I know:rolleyes: , but I did use those shoes on both my cars, in case that is what you have-stock drums.
