110 mph cut off.

I posted this in the electronics section.. But.
In my 87 GN when I hit 110-120 mph the car shuts off.. Iv searched how to get rid of it and didn't find anything.. Maybe I'm phrasing it wrong.. But what can I do to to stop this from happening? Please let me know

You say nothing about your GN, but if it is stock the computer chip is programmed to a 120 MPH limit.

At just over 1000 miles on my then new 1987 I confirmed that!

I Thought this is why everyone runs the hotwire kit on fuel pump? to prevent cutoff .

Hotwire kit is to give the fuel pump better voltage. The stock wiring was barely big enough from the factory. It has nothing to do with the 120mph cut off. Turbo Tweak Chip is what I have used for years.
