18/19" GNX Replica Wheels Installed

that car looks great nice job ,if that's what you like then thats all that matters
IMOP I do not like GNX wheels on anything but a gnx , its like a poser

Man that sucks really like these rims. Was planning on grabbing a set. But if i cant find a tire that will hold the power then that is all bad for me as that is my issue right now after upgrading turbo, trans, and switching to e85, no grip. Has anyone found a street slic that would fit on the 19’s or even one of the 18’s that will hold decent power.

I don't know about others but the tires on my GN do spin a little from a dig but the car goes straight as an arrow.

Nitto has a great street slic that i run on my 19in rims and it hooks great on the street in warm conditions. I'm hoping I can get the GNX replicas in a 20x11, if so I'll run the Mickey Thompson ET Street S/S 305/35-20

having been involved in the development of the 18/19 in GNX rims, I can almost for certain say there will not be any 20 in rims, (but anythings possible) the cost to create each size is substantial . each size has a separate mold, so to bring a 20 in to market, would be very expensive, ( it took between 3 to 4 years to get these to market)
when I say expensive, I'm talking over $75 k. and then there is a minimum quantity order,

I just received a email from Gbody stating the same thing.

A friend of mines found these GNX style Forgeline wheels that you can configure however you want (of course black). I’m going to try to squeeze a set of 20x9F/20x10.5R and run Mickey Thompson’s 305/35/20 street slic without having to notch the rear frame.

After much thought and research, I decided to go for it and buy the new GNX reproduction wheels from www.gdbodyparts.com and tires from www.tirerack.com. I got the wheels ceramic coated and they look phenomenal.
Set of 2 18" x 9" and 2 19" x 9.5" with power 6 Hex GNX style caps
255/35R-18 FIRESTONE FIREHAWK INDY 500 XL fronts
285/30R-19 FIRESTONE FIREHAWK INDY 500 XL rears

The car is running on Ridetech single adjustable coilover suspension. There was no rubbing on the initial drive around the block. More testing and adjusting to follow after the snow and salt wash away around here.

Thanks to "1984 t type" & "motrhed87" for the inspiration and Brian at gbodyparts for the wheels.

Hello Turbo Jay... I just inherited my dad's amazing 87 GN with pretty much everything you listed as mods minus the Ridetech . I also want to put that exact wheel / tire combo from G-body but they don't answer their phone at either location or answer emails. How was your experience buying yours?

Hello - I ordered the wheels from their website and had no issues receiving them few days later. One wheel was the wrong size so I contacted them via the link in the emailed receipt. They shipped me the correct wheel along with shipping P/W to return the other one. I'm thinking of selling my set so if you're anywhere close to Chicago, we can work out a deal. Please send me a private message if interested.
