Awesome, not the safest thing in the world to do but very cool to watch. It makes me want to get a bike.

B.S. about 180 mph in that vid. Watch him passing a car at 135 at the end of the vid. Looked like he was going 50 mph. They DO go that fast, but the vid didn't convince me HE was going that fast. Still NUTS either way. At 180 mph I want a FULL cage around my body. That would make a HORRIBLE rasberry! Call me a wimp. But in England I could ride a bike easier than drive a car. I'd look goofy (OK goofy-ER) trying to get in the left side of the car to drive off. On a bike you just sit on it.........or do thay have right hand drive bikes, too. You know, put the throttle on the wrong side just to confuse us Yanks?

The description above the vid specifically states that it is MPH not KPH.

No WAY

That vid has lost a lot of resolution.

When I first seen it a few years back I was told it was in MPH, and it did not say that at the start of the vid either.

Bloody ell it is MPH.

By the way that is KPH on the speedo hard to see it but if you really watch when the lighting was just right you could see the K, been using that stupid speed stuff up here for years.

The video shows him turning at 11 mph. If it was KPH he'd fall over.

At 60 meters every two seconds would equate to 1800 meters per minute which would equal 108 KPH

At 60 meters every one second would equate to 3600 meters per minute which would equal 180 KPH.

Now if you pay attention the telephone/electric/hydro poles are usually spaced at a distance of not farther that 70 meters apart, the norm is 60 so we use sixty in this instance. Some older places the poles where much closer together.

Having said that I looked at a number of different places throughout the video, and the numbers come up KPH not MPH, even grabbed the stop watch I know not very accurate but I checked it numerous times, I even went as far to find the length of the bike to check the distance in between the Poles in a couple places, and in those places with the distance traveled vs time it came out almost exactly the speed on the speedo in kph.

Here is a (long) video of David Jeffries taking a lap at the Isle of Man...Want to see some motorcycle riding,Check this out.

Unfortunately,Jeffries died at this race...In 2003,He was the course record holder at the time,This course kills riders each and every year.

If you are not fimiliar with this race...Google "Isle of Man TT"

These are the best riders in the world,And absolutely the most dangerous course.
