Well I just got my fully built trans w/trans brake from Brian on this board and its awesome. Just one bad thing. On my first couple of trans brakes it was cool , I didnt go hard because I was breaking it in. Well I launched at about 4 psi and and gripped hard. It threw me and my brother in our seats HARD. well After that launch I go to roll up my window and the it wont roll up! the window fell off of its alignment. I got it back on there but wow.....I LOVE THIS TRANS....I LOVE THIS TRANS BRAKE!!  :D

You've got me drooling. Brian built my trans also. I'm headed back to Michigan this weekend to finish my break in period and try out the trans brake.

Try launching with the trans brake at 15PSI or more with slicks.....talk about being nailed back in the seat...you better have everything in the front of the interior tied down...

Brian Hofer, a tranny builder. His username on here is 'Brian'. I like people with simple usernames

i broke stuff...........no trans brake either............i was afraid to full throttle the car, burned out the clutches...again among other things. then sent to another builder, got this one with a brake, and zero problems, 28lbs, 325/50 M/T dr's, twisted the axle's, but trans is fine :D
