Just got back from a little test run with the new 2 step. 
I can't wait to get it on some sticky pavement. It works well. It takes allot of strain off the drive train.
I'm going to do some more playing around with it tomorrow.
Installation was a snap too. :biggrin:

I have that very thing. One of the switches is a rocker switch (on-off-on). Push up and u get line lock, push down and u get transbrake all of the same switch. Im also going to tie in the 2 step with the down button so technically the switch can operate 3 things. Up line lock - down tbrake/2step.

I had a chance to see the two step in action today on more of a modded car today. This is going to be a great product if you would like a two-step/rev-limiter and/or timing retard for things for like Nitrous.
Rick's car is not an all out race car by any means, but is modded! Clean is an understatement when you describe his car. He explained the install which is pretty straight forward and simple. If you have installed an Ally kit or a Power Logger with success, this is a piece of cake. Rick has only had it in for two days and works it with ease.
I had my eyes rapidly scanning the gauges. The Scanmaster didn't register any Knock Retard the entire trip, and trust me Rick was not afraid to lean on the "go" pedal. Spooling was fast and the car on the foot brake did not move an inch while under boost. Release of the button and all cylinders came back to life, shooting off like a rocket. Clean and fast transition too. I didnt notice any ill effects during any of other driving that would lead me to question the "new product" even being installed. I will be buying one of these as soon as they hit the market!

We got lucky with the streets being clean enough to do this today. I normally don't bring her out in the winter but I had to try this out. I think I like the partial cut better then full cut. In partial cut mode, 25-33% of the cylinders will be cut in a rotating fashion to reduce engine power when the RPMs exceed the setpoint. I have enough braking power so partial cut seems more for me.
I can see it now, this is going to be fun at the track.

boy bob i hope you make plenty on the first run and dont make all of us wait forever to get it lol. maybe a preorder with payment would ensure those that want one get it quick and you all dont get stuck with a bunch of them all at once
GREAT IDEA...
Not only to allow us to definately get in line, but to see the true interest to gauge the number to make on the first run also.
