Hello everyone. I am a memeber at montecarloss.com. I have What I hope to be a minor transmission problem. One of the members recommended I post my question here. He had said there were some very knowlegable people here on the 200-4r.

So here is my issue...

I had my tranny built about 30,000 miles ago. Now when I mash on the gas when I'm at cruising speed, and the secondaries kick in, The tranny seems like it slips then it slams into "passing gear". I have played with the tv cable. It will work normal If I set the cable to the point where the tranny shifts to early between 1st. 2nd, and 3rd, I'm throwing around just buying a new 200r4 from year one. But if this is a minor fixable problem I'd rater fix the one I have. Anybody have any ideas? Thank you

Not sure how to fix your problem.

If you are looking at another trans, I would get 'hooked up' with one of the reputable builders on this board and get it done right the first time.

I'm not sure who builds the units that YO sells but I'm pretty sure you'd be better off going the rebuild route with a reputable vendor.

Do a search here and you'll see many have learned this the hard way.

Larek, There are a few builders that aren't in that list so post your location and you may get more Info.

first thing is to insstall a pressure gage on it.sounds like a suck tv limit or tv valve
