2004r Input shaft seals

What is the difference in the orange colored input shaft seals verses blue ones in the seal kits. Chris' book shows the positions for the two scarfed and one solid. Why does the kit give you different colors? Is one preferred over the other for different applications?

This is the TransTec seal kit that comes with most all rebuild kits. Does anybody know the difference. Are both colors teflon? or just the orange\tan ones?

steve they are the same and interchangeable just different colors.
