I'd consider one myself. I enjoyed the hell out of my 1992 Typhoon and could only imagine a 4 door version with more ponies and 2005 updates! What's not to like?

I really like the Trailblazer. Nice motor, good ride, works well. This thing would be REALLY nice. :)

I have a question though. Isn't it spelled "Syclone", not "Cylclone"? Don't you think the clowns at Motor Trend could at least get THAT right?

Very nice though. Seems like the article is a little old.

Only 8.5psi of boost, that can be fixed:D :D

I saw 8.5:1 compression ratio, not 8.5 psi of boost. But I am sure it would need to be turned up regardless;)

A local shop here that specializes in turbo installs just bought a new Trailblazer for the purpose of turbocharging it. He pointed out that article as inspiration. He goes to the track alot so I'm sure it will be there when he's through.

wow i am perdy sure i saw that testing in AZ about 9 months ago! i could hear the turbo(s). and tried to get the guy to talk to me about the car but he wanted nothing to do with talking but he was more the happy to drive a bit more spirted when he relized i had a turbo on my car... i would take one!

That article is better than a year old now so don't hold your breath on it being built. ;)

As slowly as the gargantuian GM moves I wouldn't doubt the marketing guys are still debating it's production.

That's right, it will be 2 years old in February. My son was in the hospital at the time and I picked that issue up in the gift shop. If I remember it seems like it said if it did go to production, the sticker would be at least $50,000:eek:

Running approximately 8.5 lb of boost, the twin-turbo 4.2 has given up none of its normal smoothness and quiet

Isn't it funny how Chrysler will make wild concept cars and then put them into production and GM will take a production vehicle and modify it, show the world, and then never produce it. How many times does this have to happen until someone gets the point?

LOL-

i definitely need to change the magazines in my bathroom-

ive still got that issue with the trailblazer TT in the spare trashcan, i cant believe its already 2 years old!!!

time to get a few magazine subscriptions...

HMM
