200R4 lazy shifting

Update...just bought one from OEHQ.com...there last one at a reasonable price and shipping. I called all around with no luck finding an OE replacement. One place wanted $155!

Not sure if I woulda found the right part number without your help 64Sedan... thank you immensly! Now I cant wait to get the darn thing so i can start driving again...with hopes that it'll be fixed...and stop second guessing my purchase.

i had the same issue i just replaced mine and the one from napa had installation instructions "for the 200-4r applications, place the supplied shims between the solenoid and transmission case" dont know why but new and old look the same.Any way the car runs alot better. here is the part number for 85 t-type ATP 15401.

finally finished the job...TCC solenoid replaced and transmision apears to be working good after 45min ride... Thanks for helping out guys!
