27" WideScreen Viewing Pleasure!!!

My previous widescreen went down for the count this week. I am not viewing my 27" ViewSonic this morning and I am grinning like a possum:biggrin: Technology is such a wonderful thing, I remember trying to read this forum on a 13" years ago

I paid $359 for it. It is awesome! I didn't need a 3D or another TV so I left off those bells and whistles....

Any eye docs on here? Sitting 18" away from this big thing isn't going to hurt my eyes is it?

That seems like a lot for just 27". If you not trying to use a tv with an antenna then it basically just becomes a monitor. Seems like you coulda bought a 27" tv for around $150-$250 and just used that as the monitor.
