My previous widescreen went down for the count this week. I am not viewing my 27" ViewSonic this morning and I am grinning like a possum:biggrin: Technology is such a wonderful thing, I remember trying to read this forum on a 13" years ago:eek:

I'm on a 22" screen and thought that was nice, how much was that 27" Shane? With flat screen tv's so cheap right now I even thought about going to one of those even..

I just replaced my 10 year old HP 970 inkjet printer with a new Epson Artisan 730, like night and day! For $99, I got wireless connection, e-mail printing, direct print on CD/DVD, 6 individual cartridges, etc. Sometimes, technology is GREAT!

I paid $359 for it. It is awesome! I didn't need a 3D or another TV so I left off those bells and whistles....

Any eye docs on here? Sitting 18" away from this big thing isn't going to hurt my eyes is it?

That seems like a lot for just 27". If you not trying to use a tv with an antenna then it basically just becomes a monitor. Seems like you coulda bought a 27" tv for around $150-$250 and just used that as the monitor.

If your only setting 18" away be very careful what your watching .... especially in 3D
