Is this too much timing to run on pump gas and Alky? Dual Nozzle kit wit 25 psi of boost.
I get a bit of knock less than 3* that goes away on the inital boost ramp up but haven't held the pedal down to the floor long enough to see if it comes back. This was at like 65-70 mph in 30* temps. A/F is 11.0:1. I feel I may pushing the envelope but maybe its just a well kept secret of the faster guys. Any others try this with success? Any adjustments you guys would advise?

Only add timing and boost as performance increases. Because you run 40 degree's of timing doesnt mean it goes faster than 24 degree's. So do timing adjustments where you have control of seeing HP increase.

For street setups, I keep timing down, as well as boost. Too many things can go wrong at really high boost.. and your senses need to be there.

Can you run 25 PSi and 27 degree's timing on pump and alky.. yes. But.... its not a place I like to be with a hot engine, radio playing, and distractions.

Gotcha guys! I will go back to the 23/21 until I can make it to a dragstrip... in the Spring...
