Will a 3500 911 billet lock up converter on a 200R4 trans be enough to run a GTS-76 BB turbo on a stage 2 headed 274" stage2 motor on the street? If not what stall would be more suited?
You'll like it. Mine is very similar --3600 stall but not a BB turbo. You better have some GOOD tires when the boost comes up or do like me --keep the boost down to around 14 psi.
STP on the board who just sold his Stage II had the M/T 275-60 and they went MUCHO better than my Nittos. He come pull some killer 60 ft times with them. I believe he had a 1.41 @ Indy couple years ago.

Should be more than enough with a BB cartridge and at least 9.0:1. The engine im preparing for my car is very similar with 9.7:1 and ran a 76 GTS journal bearing and a 3600 stall AC converter and spooled fast and went 9.30's@147mph. Ill be running the same turbo and a 3300-3600 PTC billet stator unit myself and plan to run nearly 150 mph weighing under 3500lbs. I will be running a minimum of 35hp of N2O under 20 psi. I may change a/r to over 1.0:1 and run a 75-100 shot at the strip. Car should be a bullet like that but would be a tire fryer on the street up to about 110mph.
