The 70BB is a great strip turbo too!!! It works real well on a iron headed TSM combo and we're about to see how one will work on a GN-1R setup.

Jack -the 70 turbo i have was just rebuilt by john craig and i know changing the exhaust housings from P to Q shouldnt be difficult but i was wondering making a GT housing from the standard 70 compressor housing is possible?

Its not just the housing that makes it a gtq it is different wheels also.

How well does the 70bb spool on the street compared to something small like a TE44?

Not sure i can really answer that, Almost as fast i would think if each has the proper tq convertor but im sure a bit slower on the 70

Otto- are the wheels and housings diferent or just the wheels? if the housings and wheels are different i guess i ll look to sell my t-70 and get a 70 gtq later on.

The wheels are different, the housing is the same, just machined differently to accept the different dimensions of the wheel.

Sorry for asking, but I could not find anyone selling the 70BB online?

I am considering the 67 or the 70BB this summer but can not find the price on the web.

Doc,

We carry both turbos, my web site is not up to date on all the turbos yet. I hope to be able to spend some time getting parts and prices added in the next month. If you have any questions or don't see something you need, feel free to call anytime.

I got my 70 BB from Jack, and it worked awesome this year, very happy with it. Spools good on the street and has some nasty top end.

Jack, actually ships to Canada? Glad you are supporting UPS:)

The turbo was a P-trim, but the hole in my ass from UPS was a GTQ......

Not sure if it helps, but we are doing Fed Ex now........also, thinking about doing another T-netics turbo sale this month...... Ball Bearing Turbos, $1295.00 and up, what ya all think........as well as Non BB turbos, all big shaft from the 61's and up for $795.00 to ........ depending on what wheels we use.

Jack- are the GTQ-70 turbos available with ball bearings? if so how much? Are you going to be using fedex ground? thats what i always use- i think the best prices.

My 70BB spools exactly the same as my old PT-54. So.....slower than a 44 but faster than a 60.
