My sig. has my build up. Not sure if I should go with the 70GTQ or P trim. The only changes that will be made are TH350 with PTC converter, and 3.5 DP. Shooting for some very low 10's. The car is driven on the street more than at the track.
Thanks for the input

What are your goals at the track?

With a 66 GTQ at 29 psi you should be haulin with that combo.

I see you have a BB 66, will the 70 be BB??

No more 66BB. The goal is some very low 10's. Depending on if any deals come up on the board for BB, I'll probibly go journal bearing.

A P-trim can get you in the low 10's and will spool better on the street.

With the parts in your sig you should be solidly in the low 10's if you have the s-trim. The only thing you would have gained more from would be the converter but you took care of that.

Bison, so are you saying to go with the 70GTQ over the 70P Trim turbo? How would the street manners be with the GTQ?
Thanks guys!

Id go BB GTQ for sure. You may need a converter adjustment but Dusty will be able to take care of that. Street manners will be good if the converter is right. Im assuming you bought the 9.5" NL. I have the s trim 66 which is t-netics GTQ and it is the best street combo ive experienced yet. My converter stalls to 3100 at zero boost/vacuum on the t-brake. It spools my 66 really quick. I would want a 3400 for the 70 though. You might be able to get away with a little less since the E85 has more exhaust energy than gasoline. You should have a 135+mph car with the 70 at 29psi. The 2.52 1st of the 350 should help with 330" times. You have a really strong combo there.

Thank you sir! I have not bought the converter yet, just waiting to get the turbo first. But yes I'm going to get the 9.5 NL from Dusty for sure!!

I know a guy on this board that went from 10.01@137mph with a P-trim 70 then swapped head units for a 70GTQ and ran 9.68@140mph with no other changes. I have that same 70GTQ for sale if your interested. Mine has a 4 bolt exh housing, but for less then $100 you could pick up a 3 bolt housing and swap them. I am selling mine for $750 plus shipping.
