Again... HOW WOULD HE HAVE SPARK?

:D

It is that factor that is throwing me off on this one.

That shattered piston is shocking to say the least!

You don't need the ECM to have spark, as long as you have coil/module and all the other sensors hooked up you will have spark. The power for that comes from another source.

you were right it was the orange wire. my dumbass thought it was for the ac which was removed.lol. i was going to start the car but when the pump was priming one of the fuel lines was broken and it was pissing fuel everywhere so now i have to fix that before i can start it.ill keep you guy updated

I am glad it worked out, just double check all the line and hoses before you fire up.
Do you have a flat tappet cam? is it new or are you re using the old one?

What threw me off is that the car had "injector pulse", which does not happen without ECM (??)
Glad the "no start" condition is fixed  ..... for now  ....

.......... .i dont have injector pulse i tested that also. .......

My bad .......... misread the info ...

........ i had the no start prob,it was my crank sensor ..........
Good feedback! That actually happens quite a bit, but typically that affects spark (which the original poster indicated to be OK)

You are not alone; I had to read it few times to actually analyze it. If you noticed I started my post by saying "I am confused!"

aright, i have the cam shaft where its supposed to be. the cam cap is from caspers elec. so it has an led light when its at 0-2 volts. i recheck firing order and its right, but was wierd is that i moved the wires (on the coil) two spaces foward and thats were it ran but it missfires like hell. does anyone have an idea what it could be?
