what would cause a tranny to shift really early, like i can manually shift and take the rpms higher but just in D it shifts really quick under WOT, it has a 9 inch 2800 stall and rebuilt tranny with hardened stator better bands etc... te 52 alky atr 214/208 cam ported heads...trw pistons etc...

First thing that comes to mind is a mis-adjusted TV cable. Very important!
