I have had many member suggest we try to have an official get together of TurboBuick.com members at BG and try to have a screen name to face meeting

I will be honest, I have only been one time and do not know the area to well. Does anyone have any suggestions of a meeting place? I am thinking Friday night sometime!

Please suggest a place and time and lets see if we can work this out! I would love to buy all you guys and gals a drink!



BTW, anybody got a lead on a room or 2

We usually meet at TOOTS, its kinda like Hooters but theres no tits..

Its located on scotts dale road , i do believe if your headed from the racetrack towards the hotels and tooling thru town.
Left at the stop light CVS AND KFC will be on your left when you turn on scotts dale road, down a mile

Why isnt there a thread on this already??

I know alot of tb.com members have shown up there, but the night needs to be coordinated with the seminars that some folks go to.

Do a search on toots and maybe we can figure the hot night out.

When you walk in the doors of toots, usually the tb.com members sit to the right of the bar (closer to the road)

Hand out markers and those old " hello my name is" tags and have a blast.

Search white castle(s) and that also brings up many BG friends

I will be staying at motel 6, hoping the entire crew will be there again as we all have been there for many years.

Last year we had the cutlass hit the dumpster and some other major events..

I will be there monday thru sunday morning.

What night is the Tech Session going to be held at the Holiday Inn?
Seeing how that went last year with over 350 people showing up, I think the Toots meeting needs to be earlier.

Keep in mind, Friday night is the ONLY night we race under the lights and is when they have the first and second rounds of qualifying for the Heads Up classes.

Toots is fine with me, lets take into consideration the Thursday night seminar, only one I am aware of... And what Cal posted about the racing. Cal what time is that usually over with?

I think last year, Friday night was over around 8ish to 9ish. Really depends on down time due to track messes and the likes.
I'll be running TSS myself so it looks like Wed night might be the best time. Eitherway, I'll do my best to be there.

Patrick's correct (isn't he always?). I think we were done racing between 8 & 9. By the time you put everything away and clean up, it's around 10.

I will be there, since I am now subscribed to this thread I can see where you all will be meeting at and try to make it there. No GN for me down there though, just my GTP with a turbo siz club sticker on the rear side window. :smile:

BWW is right on the main drag, close to the interstate. Toots kind of sucks but its been 10+ years since Ive eaten there so maybe its gotten better. I thought their wings were nasty.

BWW is pretty new to the area, I think 2 maybe 3 years old. Parking might actually be better there as well, because in the past, we pretty much packed Toots and it was crowded. BTW, for those interested, I have the inside scoop on where the locals are hanging out now, and it's not Autozone. We have a board member on here that has all the Top Secret info. Can't wait. We might need to call ahead no matter where we decide to go.

I was hoping from 6-11 or something, that way everyone has a good time frame to show up and leave when they need to. I would probably leave the track and beeline straight to the "function"...

What time is the seminar? I havent read a single thing on it yet.

I will be in the Dark blue dodge dually with a sewer pipe, not taking a car again this year. We usually pit at the 1/8th mile where the asphalt ends next to the water spicate. Just sniff for the ribbbbbs and chicken.

Just to let you know, Buffalo Wild Wings isn't closer to I65; it's across from Greenview Hospitol. You're probably thinking of Motor City that's right by the Harley dealership. Definitely better wings than Toots.

Hi guys just a suggestion alot of us stay at the motel V'6, why nite just come by there!!!!

there is always something going on!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
