Is there a T-top version and has anyone used one? Pics if available would be great.

I also had problems with the sun visors. After trying to get them right for many hours, I took them out all together. I have a solid roof car. Other than that, I love the way it fits and looks. The flexibility was nice too when installing it.

I have a hard top. The holes for the sunvisors were not correct. The big issue was the hole for the dome light was in the wrong location. I found this out after I cut the fabric. I had to move the dome light. No instructions inclosed.

+1

So I am not the only one who has had issues and did not receive instructions.

Brian told me if I had read the insructions them it would have fit correctly. I spent hours tring to get it square and still it will not fit correctly.

I installed one for my astroroof car. Fit was good. My only complaint is that they shipped the headliner rolled up and it never really went back to shape. It fits, but there are some high and low spots. The only way of getting it to fit correctly is to put two sided tape on the low spots and try to stick it up to the roof. Also on an item that costs so damn much. You would think that the hole for the astroroof would be pre cut. That part alone was nerve racking.

Yeah the old operator error excuse...
I did recieve instructions, but I have done head liners before even recovered one myself with pretty good results.
The only reason I bought a "Plug and Play" was that this Astroroof was jammed and I had to remove the headliner that was once removed and replaced using permanent means. So it wasnt coming off in one piece.
I was one of the first to chime in and like i said I did them before, this was shifted to the left, when installed with the visors and dome light lining up perfectly.

So I guess the fix is to take it down and enlarge the holes for the visors and dome light so I can get it centered. And have visible holes near the sides of the fixtures:mad:

so no info on a T-Top version?

We have t-top versions & moon roofs as well.

As far as no instructions. I walked out & grabbed one unit off the shelf. Pulled out the instructions.
I have no problem faxing them if needed.

What I'll do is put a section on the headliner area where you can down load instructions & installed pics.

Please don't any one take this the wrong way but when we were in PA. I had 17 year olds installing these with less whining. It is a headliner. Lay your old 1 on top of it & go.
Also keep in mind our cars came with Dome lights & map lights. These units are pre cut for the Dome light. There were more dome lights them map lights produced.

As far as shipping these things we have to roll them up in a box. That box still measures 130" If it was over that shipping would be crazy.

Mr. Mizzi I did not come here to argue & in no way typed that. You asked for pics I sent them to you. Believe me I didn't make any $ sending you 3 headliners.
It bothers me when you post that I said nobody has ever had problems but you. That is why I posted we do not read instructions. That was to lighten things up. I just find it hard to believe with 3 headliners you didn't get instructions.

We are not going to pre cut the holes for the moon roof.
On the visors the holes are larger then the round holes in the steel body. The visors screw holes are even pre-drilled.
The slots for the coat hangers are also pre cut.
I really do not know how we could have made the unit any easier.

And if I had only gotten the correct color I would have only needed one.

And there is anyother board member here than can verify my story.

And you were the one bringing up names MR. Weavy.

And.....

Brian, I like how you mention that you didn't make any money on the deal after sending 3 headliners. How is this in any way Boostingbuick's fault? I think he has been more then patient dealing with you. This has been going on for almost 2 years now. I have had a few conversations about this problem with you in the past.

Why did you have to send 3?

Well, the first one showed up and had 2 holes in it. Here are the pics from Aug of 2006.

The second one you sent was the wrong color. It was WAY darker then it should be. You blamed that on the rest of the interior fading. I cant find the pics right now it has been 19 months since this whole thing started.

I unpacked the first 2 headliners and NEVER saw any instructions other then the sticker on the box telling you to unroll the headliner.

I sent 3 because the first 1 he wasn't happy with the color.
The second as you posted was damaged.
3rd I have here after 2 years un happy with the color.
So after being damaged, water stained,& returned this is what we have here below.
All 3 were from the same lot of material. Anyone who was at our shop in PA. would tell you we had a minimum of 40-50 headliners in stock. We would order 3 pallets at a clip. That way the headliners & visors all matched.Saved on shipping expenses etc...
You can actually see the green on the visor swivel where moisture had caused corrosion. The water stains are also quite visable.

Mike's solution:
Have UPS file a claim for water damage. I really doubt the corrosion on the headliner popped up that way in a dry box.

I sent 3 to keep Mike happy. We Still didn't have a problem when we took it back after almost 2 years. The problem is I can't do anything with the headliner having multiple holes in the visor area. The material is obviously water damaged.

Now I'm expected to take it back with out any problems right? I know our manufacturer wouldn't take it back.
We have shipped these out & had damages & taken care of them. That is part of shipping.

Also note the date on the pics are incorrect. My camera broke & I had grabbed an old 1 that was here.

So, heres the question......Would he have needed to make the additional holes for the sunvisor if the headliner fit properly?

Also, if you have so many in stock then why was this one shipped to me from another company in Long Beach CA? I still have the original shipping label.

Ok. Brian, Thank you for understanding and calling me back to fix this. This looks like this will get fixed.

No you shouldn't have to make extra holes. The holes are already in there for the visor swivels.
Please re-read where I posted directions.

Mike I have a visor taken apart now & the plastic is being painted. Sending the rest of the visor off today. No promises but I'll have them match the original exterior visor material color as closely as possible.
