Well, I have two things on my list right now that I finally have scraped together the cash to do. Alky! WOO! and fix my seats...

Now I could go with complete recovers from G-body parts or I could go aftermarket. I have used corbeau seats in several cars and race trucks and been REALLY happy with them... Now here is the real question... Are after market seats considered "bad" in these cars? Am I going to get mean looks from other Gn owners if I put two racing seats up front? Here are the seats Im considering:

What do ya'll think about these seats? I was actually thinking about having a turbo 6 emblem put on them also. Am I crazy or do ya'll like these?

I like the one in the middle. I have been toying with this idea in the back of my mind for a while. The GN seats are not the most comfortable, IMHO.

Well I get my seats from racingseatsusa.com and they have them for 700$ a pair plus 180$ for the sliders brackets... I know exactly what you mean about the stock seats sucking thats why Im really considering it.

I like the first ones.

They kinda have a little bit of style like the stock ones, especially if you could have someone embroider the logo in the headrest....

I like the top one. It's not as radical looking as the other two, and would be a better "visual" fit, and still looks like it has plenty of support.

I installed aftermarket seats a while back, and do not regret it at all. Much better fit and comfort.

I prefer the stock look & would redo the original seats if it were mine. But.... if i was drifting in the streets of Tokyo i would want the side support of those seats. :)

Bottom line....It's your car so build it to your vision & enjoy it.

I Like the first one, maybe Get the 6 logo bigger on the seat!:p

Seats

Went with aftermarket seats as well. The comfort and fit smoke the stockers a huge difference. . These have a high back with good back and kidney support. You feel like part of the car Anatomically superior. They are Bomz racing ($300 pr.) and the G-body bracket( holes and bolts line up perfectly) the adjustable bracket/slider($150pr.). The bracket is handcrafted in America ;) and the seats probably made in the same Chinese/Taiwanese factory :frown: as the patent infringed /copied Stainless steel headers being talked about on another thread.

So I have a pair of stockers with head rests available they need recovering or if someone needs the motor drive unit out of the drivers side let me know. Gave away a Dut. necked stock IC for 40 bones. El Cheapo:biggrin:

Go with the bottom ones . Look like they wrap around and lend your back and neck good support.. The Bomz Taiwanese seats look similar to the bottom seats . Suede would be nice goin fast with class. Also got rid of those ugly pull strap uppers and had an old friend of mine rip off the material and went with a grey artificial micro faux leather covering stitched with flames the full length of the panel. Looks good if I don't say so myself 40 bucks a door. Going to get rid of the foam padding on the rollbar and have him cover it in a grey faux leather, either in stamped alligator or osterich , looks like the real McCoy. Baseball stitch would be awesome (expensive)but will probably have him stitch up sleeves with velcro fastners.(cheaper)

The top one will fit in cuz it looks like the archaic stock seat. You might as well get your stockers recovered in micro-suede and probably would be cheaper then 880 bucks, you keep the adjustable drivers seat and you don't need to waste money on New seat brackets(180). Probably cost less then 500 bucks to get the originals covered, why not save 300 or more dollars nd have done to the seats what sverble recommended, they'd be one of a kind then, that Power6 would be cool. The top section doesn't look as comfortable or supportive/anatomical as the other competition designed seats . Go with a contemporary aggresive look which are designed after true racing seats....

You would Not get a MEAN  look from me, it would be more a look of Jealously  First one the Best
