Aftermarket tach

What tach works no mods and using the green clip behind alternator? I looked at the signal coming off the clip with my oscilloscope and saw the five volt square wave. Almost perfect square wave, too. Do all modern aftermarket tachs made for distributorless systems run off a five volt square wave?

Want to buy something that will work and not have to worry about not being able to return it.

I plugged right into the green pigtail and I didn't need anything special to make it work.
