Does anyone know of any vendors that carry A/C units that can be installed.

If the factory A/C is removed for say a TT build (GN), is there any manufactors that make an A/C kit that is smaller and could be installed in the engine bay or elsewhere? I cant live without A/C....! Thanx.

I just removed all my A/C and heater crap out of the car (none of it was working, diaphrams were blown up, etc.). I'd like to know this too. Is there some sort of portable deal out there? I know there are for heat, but not sure for A/C. I did a search on the internet and couldn't find anything. It won't bother me if I don't have A/C, I never use it anyways. Just curious if I COULD add a portable deal.

We are installing a Vintage Air Gen-IV Magnum unit in a TTA. This under dash unit is more compact than the factory piece, and contains all the AC and heater components it it. Also, no un-reliable vacuum controls.

No fan or air box under the hood either.:D

Hey Nick...where you get such an animal? I'm highly interested in this!

Vintage Air is great stuff. It can be pricey, but its worth it. A lot of the top builders use them on their resto mods - those $100K+ Tri 5s, first Gen Camaros, everything. We are installing one on a 71 Nova soon and I have plans for one on my TT GN.

It all fits under the dash, gives you a ton more room under then hood, it looks cleaner, and its more reliable.

wow that is awesome! not sure I could fit the heater/ac unit under the dash though??? that sucker is pretty big...I know for a fact I could fit their a/c only unit under the glovebox...I might go that route since I never drive the car in the winter and if someone gets cold, just bundle up!:D

Brett! Are you getting back into the TR game???:D

Lol, well Mark you know how it goes, never really left just looking gone underground for a bit. Maybe i'll pull the trigger again soon and go back in debt. Im sure I will buying many items from you again....lol.
