well what were the times for the other guys?? how many cars ?? come on..spill your guts :p

Only three cars in TAI. Each car made only one pass to qualify. John Snyder was number one with a 6.3x. Then me at 6.50 and Randy from Big Wood. Don't know his time but think he was having some issues with his car.
First round John got the bye and I won my round with a 6.8x. For the final I turned the boost up a little and was going to use the t-brake to try to give John a race but my car never moved off the line. Should have stuck with the footbrake. Didn't see his winning time.
Congrats to John. His car looks and runs great. Everyone that didn't go should mark this on their calender for next year. Thanks to Shane for making full payouts for the guaranteed purses even though turnout was low. Clint did an excellant job and Richard Clark's place is an experiance that every turbobuick person should do.

What happened Randy??

Congrats to John I got to meet him at BG last year and he's a super nice guy.

Wish I could have been there to make it a 4 car field, but it wasn't in the budget for me this year.

Any video of that race or is it in one of the vids Shane posted?

Randy, It was nice meeting you in NC...I met a bunch of nice buick guys and had a great time, I know our race would have been a close one!!, I was sorry that you had some problems...hopefully it's not too bad and your back up and running soon!

Re the event, this was really a first class deal....I think it was very racer focused, I was only able to be there Friday and Saturday, but heard all about Richard's place, and will plan to head down earlier next year...It will be top of my list for sure...Clint and Shane did a great job...as I stepped out of the truck to unload, Clint was there, introduced himself, performed an impromptu peer tech (for tsr), and thanked me for coming and wished me good luck......all before I had my car unloaded!!! very impressive...

Congrats John

i wish i could have made it to give you a run for the $:) i am going to try and make bowling green. give me a shout John when you get time........Bob

Here ya go John..

Thanks Julio!!

Julio, Thanks for the picture of my pit crew.....I told them to root for the black car and they couldn't go too wrong!!!

I also wanted to thank you for sponsoring the class again .... and for helping me out with some tools on Friday...hopefully there will be another great turnout at BG like there was last year....

Looks like the shaft broke on the forward drum. Hope to see you in BG.

There was a couple of the runs in there Brett! I was scrambling back and fourth between the line and my car and a few other things so I am not sure which race or round was which;)

The winning car was running great though! I remember watching the launch and it was cool!
