An injector question for a friend

Can anyone tell me the visual differences between the Ford Bluetop 24# and 36# injectors?

Any noticable differences? Any serial #'s to look for? He's not sure if his bluetops are 24 or 36#'ers

Visual difference? Yes, the 36# are very very dark blue. The 24# are much lighter in color.
