I can only laugh out loud at the rationale behind criminals that are upset with law enforcement attempting to rid gangs from C-Town.
Gangs stay in business and make their money by dealing illegal drugs, selling illegal guns, committing robberies and burglaries, pimping prostitutes, shaking down buisness owners, stealing cars, identity theft rings, and the list goes on.......
There is absolutely nothing they do that is constructive to any community anywhere and they have the ballz to state that the Police are not playing fair. Too funny.
We really need to start treating these criminals the way they do in other countries and send a real message. It's a true sign of the times when gang members think the Police need to play by their rules. Unfuken believable!
And these gang members are too stupid to figure this out themselves?? They won't stop and go get a legitemate job because it doesn't pay what the drug sales do. Go out and get a job yourselves! You need the police to tell you this?? These gang members are idiots in saying "not fair". Life isn't fair. Do for yourself and get some self respect. I have known the value of a dollar since I was a little kid and I earn every dollar I make and I don't hurt or kill anybody in the process. I pay my bills and my taxes.

i would think that once you got all of them in one place for a "summit" it would be an ideal time to fly in a gunship and seal the deal. Sure rights activists would bitch for a bit, but in the long run......
cops need firepower and the means financialy to fight these idiots.
You have to live near Chicago to understand it. Not saying the are right but think about it. You have 10,000 or so Chicago Police Officers. I bet you have 25,000 gang members. Piss them all off at one time then what can you do? Remember, of the average citizens dont have a gun due to the previous laws.
Geez, the stories that come out of this country sometimes make me think I must be dreaming. I know I shouldn't be surprised with how out of control things are getting...but it never ceases to amaze me :frown:
Funny, the "leader" who said "we need to be told to get jobs instead of commit crimes" (paraphrasing)...it seems to me like he's got that figured out already, so maybe he could use some of his "leadership" to spread that word instead of a chicken-sh*t complaint about needing guidance instead of punishment. I'm sure his next stop is the local ACLU.
My dad has an unusual opinion on street crime...he thinks the reason this type of low-level street crime is so out of control nowadays is because Federal law enforcement crippled the mafia. He thinks that with the mafia came more accountability and leadership in the criminal world that even low-level hoods had to answer to, and there was a more rigid structure in place rather than the violence free-for-all that has emerged since. I can't say if I agree or not, but its sure an interesting theory.
Hmm...I'm a criminal justice major, maybe I'll write a paper about that...:biggrin:
