hello all,

i live in calgary alberta, and from what i have read, most of you guys are on the coast or in low elevations.

calgary is at 3500' so air density is considerably lower.

so hear is my question to you guys, what type of et's and turbo setups are you running at higher elevations?

thank you

karolko, I am in Calgary also. I run mid 13's with stock turbo. I used to run at 600ft altitude with everything the same and my car slowed down about 1/2 second.

I live i n Edmonton and my GN ran mid 12's in Bowling Green Ky. I ran or should say my wife ran 13.1 here. There's probably a 12.9 in it once we get used to launching a turbo car. That's about right since with my other cars I would pick up 4 tenths going to Mission.

huh so what type of timing are you boys running at our higher elevations compared to lower elevations?

thanks for your help.

Adrian

 I did not change anything - car rarely sees the track and is mainly weekend driven only.

Ditto, mine has Red's 93 chip and stock turbo. So whatever his timing is on the chip is what I run along with 20lbs. boost.

High altitude

Car was bracket raced stock turbo, 30#inj., 32 * timing , launch boost 8#'s, Tranny brake and C16 consistant low 12's. Conley MaG4 dhip with high timing. Car actually busted into 11's by 3 hundreths at 1000 ft lower altitude. Changed out Turbo (44) injectors 009's have added Razor alky,TT chip this year... Car is a DD now so it's detuned.
