It's snowing here in Maryland. So, I am looking forward to sharing my lastest GN project with other GN lovers. During the winter months I spend my time in the garage working on my 87 GN. This year I am painting and polishing the interior. It takes time but well worth the effort. I have removed all the plastic trim, steering wheel, console and painted them. Any chrome parts I have polished with aluminum foil and water. Today was the day I would have started putting back all the parts and pieces. But, if you are like me, living in the mid Atlantic area, you are looking for things to do inside do to the wintery mix. Take a look at some chosen pictures. Hope you enjoy.

Gotta keep busy somehow. Nice work on the interior. Where in MD are you? A week or so ago it was 60 degrees so I was estatic to drive my car for a day. All I've done is order parts and will be hitting it hard in the next week or two to get ready for show season.

Gotcha. I'm up in Carroll County. Theres about 10-12 of us up here with TR's.

I am all alone down here. Its a great feeling to have friends with the same enthusiasm. Hey, just for fun can you tell , from picture 031, what parts are not shown?

Ya, this long winter was a good time to get some projects taken care of!!!! First on mine was new carpet; console repair; upper dash plate repair; replaced driver's side A pillar trim piece(to get rid of the gauges).
Then under the car, First was tranny pan gasket replacement; engine oil pan gasket replacement; starter replaced with 96 corvette unit.
Then into engine bay, replaced black stock valve covers with silver stockers and new gaskets(valve covers were also leaking); and general dress-up under the hood.

But the weather still sucks even here so it'll be some weeks before it's safe to go out on the streets. Going to take a LOT of rain to get rid of all the salt brine.

Besides the center console the only things I can think of are the rear sail panels, 3rd brake light, and seat belt retainers. Bill Anderson is probably the only other one down that way. Besides carroll county there is one in the glen burnie area and one in havre de grace. Also one or two in howard county.

This winter project turned into a rebuild. Pretty happpy about it and motor.should be done next cpl.weeks. hopefully ill have trans mouted b4 motor.comes.back. with no.heat in garage makes me.choosy on.which.projects im tackling lol
