Alan's 88 Camaro ZNX got about 9 passes and ran the best of 10.47@132 on 22 psi!! Found the head gasket blowing problems and it was the wiring to the fuel pumps. So we fixed that and no more probs. The engine: 231, Champion Ported Irons, 224/224 roller, 74 turbo, 75 injectors, th400, FAST XFI! Thanks to Brian (Blazer406) and LAZ for the tune! Shooting for 9's!!!

I will post pics later of random stuff

Any video available? I'd love to see Rob Irle riding the back bumper! He is a very cool local guy many ATL GN owners rely on, and always seems to go balls out!

Jason said he lost boost and went 9.50,Cliff sandbagging lol went 9.84. Sam lost his rearend got it fixed but has no 2nd gear.

I had a major boost loss pass, and had it under control for round 2.. but my driveshaft had other plans. It is only sandbagging if I admit it.... lol

Cliff I have awesome video footage of your car with the wheels up!! ;)

Tell me about it... Very low boost, the cars 2nd pass, and a supposed "fresh" motor...

But I already said too much... I'll let Steve start any other comments!!

got home, assessed the damage, I am not an expert on block repair, but "I" think it can be repaired. I do not have the exact cause of the problem as of yet it is looking like an oiling issue. #1 rod bearing gave up, & the Carrillo rod said "I don't like this" & knocked about a 2"x3" hole in the block behind the motor mount. amazingly the motor mount bolt castings are still fine. we will be back up & running for the nationals.
I will say one thing, if this was not a new build, as in new header, turbo, & ect, I would say bye bye Buick & hello to a twin turbo Butler Built Pontiac motor. Butler Performance - PONTIAC ALUMINUM BLOCK

Does anyone have video of the final,I missed it:mad:

I saw it :p He pulled 2nd gear while it was in the wheelie and it kept going. Shoulda been there!!!!!

All my videos look completely awesome on my TV but when I transfer them to windows movie maker they suck! The quality is bad. :(

Looks like this will be a job for "The Man" Mr. Nelson Febus!

Had a great time as usual. I knew Don and Dick were going all out so I just played it safe and put just enough boost to go rounds. I obviously was so excited about winning the points series I fell alseep against Sully in the final. Congrats Sully! Your car is running good.

Congrats Jason on the points win!!! Congrats Don and Dick on your new numbers!!! Now where is this big wheelie video at?
