Normally I would say no.

But that doesnt discount previous abuse. My daughter had a 2002 Ford Contour and it had 77k miles on the odometer and spit a rod outside the block driving 65 MPH on the highway. Not racing it.

Stuff happens.. the only real thing is to tear it apart and see if it was starved for oil, clogged pickup, bad oil pump, etc. with a 139000 miles... it is what it is. Who is to say 7 years ago they went 10k without doing an oil change for example.

We have Toyota Tundras in our service fleet (about 30) that run 300-400k with minimal wear. But they get serviced all the time.

Who knows.

cant help but my 94 V6 camry has 250K and i beat on it daily

Doesn't sound right to me either and i'm an Audi/Vw tech and god knows we have oil issues
