I had them on my GN. The wiring "adapter" he provided didn't quite work. It would always keep both sets of lights on at once (high and low beams). I tried to re-do it but since I never really drove the car, I gave up.
They ARE brighter and do look nice. I put a set on the Metro (actually the ones I got are angel eyes) and since I had to wire it from scratch, they work fine. The lights on the Metro are actually probably the best of all my cars except for the fact that the lights are so low to the ground. Figure out that wiring and you'll have modern bright lights for your car.
If you really want to get pimp, you CAN get angel eyes for the car. Some people might find them queer but I really like the look of them. I have mine wired up with the parking lights. Looks kinda menacing (if a Geo can) when I pull into the water box.
I paid $40 for my GN ones shipped about 2 years ago and he included white (not blue tinted) bulbs. The Metro ones actually are the same as an S-10 and I think I have $50 (shipped in those).

FWIW & IMHO:
There was a set sold off of the PARTS FOR SALE" menu about 6 months ago that supposedly worked very well, but the manufacturer, of whose name I can't recall, went out of business, or quit handling the product. The light set that I mentioned previously is not the same as these. I have Sylvania silver stars, and I like them, not any or much brighter, I don't think, but a different spread pattern and a much whiter light, and once you drive with them, you won't go back to standard lights. I have not purchased the "Headlight hot wire kit from Kirban's yet, but that is next. It is unfortuante that no good reputatable manufacturer makes a good headlight kit that accepts the high performance bulbs. Another "not enough sales potential" problem here. Casper's, I believe, also make a "Headlight hot wire kit".

I use SYLVANIA H4656 Cool Blue Headlight and I love them. They are not blue but have a real bright white look to them. Everyone compliments them when in front of me. They are not blinding but really brite and clear. IMO I think they look the best that I've seen so far so if it's the same ones keep em and leave it be!The only problem is sometimes they are hard to find. I found them in some small parts store near me. Look into them you might like em! Here is a link to Sylvania's web site...
