Anyone Doubt Fedor Now?

Guys,

For the longest time I have heard from some UFC fans that Fedor was a nobody. Hmmm Tim Sylvia and Andrei Arlovski seemed to not have too much for him. Pretty sure he would spank Randy as well. What do you guys think...

I think AA was doing a great job with Fedor until he left his feet with the jumping knee. His leg kicks and stand up was working well and connecting............. But Fedor is #1 for a reason. Very classy fighter, you can't help but like him. I would really like to see a rematch for this fight. I still believe deep down inside that AA could pull it off. But woulda shoulda coulda don't count. One mistake and it was lights out. Fedor is just amazing.
What about that TKO of Matt L? did you see his leg shake when he was knocked out. At 38 years old that's not the way you want to live life. When he came through he didn't know where he was.
Well it looks like the Baby Face Assasin is next for the title shot if Fedor wants it to happen. Friends or no friends, Josh isn't in it to not want the beat. That would be a pretty interesting fight.
John, did you catch Shane Mosely KO Margeritto? I was flipping the channel back and forth. that was a very impressive fight for Shane. It was a good night for fights

I was actually looking for your post before I decided to post...LOL

-I think in a rematch Fedor takes him again.
Fedor is just too versatile for most guys to deal with.
He is not a striker but knocked out a guy who thinks he is going to be
a Pro Boxer.... If Fedor got him to the ground it would have been ugly.
IMO Fedor was feeling him out and trying to get him to expose his weak chin.
I noticed several times he was looking to counter after taking a shot.

-In regards to Linland and Vitor I am not totally sure
Is Vitor back or is Matt done, or both?
Vitor does look fast at 185, but I am not use to seeing him that small.

-Josh dominated a Kickboxer on the ground for the whole fight.
I was not totally surprised by anything other than how long it took him to finish. Gilbert showed a lot of heart and can take a beating.
I hope to see him vs Sylvia or Arlovski next...

-I did not get to see the boxing match but it is nice to see Shane still has it in him. They were trying to write him off last year from what I can remember.

Very true. Did you hear Tito hint to the fans he wouldn't mind fighting Babalu when he was interviewing him after fighting Sokoudjou???? Tito should learn to close his mouth cause he would get a wicked beat down if they fought.

He did beat some scrub named Forrest Griffin in mid '06 which is less than 3 years. I like how Machida's ranking went from #10 to #4 after he beat this has been who almost triangle choked him out. For the record he hasnt lost a fight either.

Even his last 5 wins are against dudes that are less than average. Soko is worthless...gasses after 1 round and couldnt cut it in the UFC like Sobral. He got KOed and HIS ass handed to him TWICE by Liddel also. He also got KOed by Jason Lambert a little over year and a half ago who is average at best. He was dismantled by Randleman of all people who runs out of gas in 3 minutes.

We will just have to agree to disagree on this one and see what happens if this fight ever takes place. No beating is nessesary, its just my opinion and your opinion, and that doesn't make either one of us right or wrong. I will have to pull out John's lines on ya and say, its a shame we didn't live closer to each other, I would have you over for some chips and beer while it was going on. My nieghbour and I always have a difference of opinion and it makes for great conversation while the fights are going on.

Fedor is the best fighter in the world. Arvloski looked good but he gets cocky and puts himself in bad positions. I dont think anyone can hang with Fedor at this point. He smash brack lesnar so bad, he would probably kill him.
Tito and babalu would be a good fight but if you guys are counting out Tito, look at his last couple of fights. Did very well against Machida and beat Forrest, the guy is still a top lhw. good show, I hope to see Fedor vs. Barnett soon, if it happens.

I don't think that anyone can beat Fedor at the moment. He is a brute and a very savvy fighter. I think he has lost only one fight that I know of, and he got cut right away and the Ref stopped it. He since beat that guy. Just a very tuff guy!

Fair enough That would be cool, most the GN guys I know arent into mma or the mma guys arent in to GNs. As far as Im concered if Tito couldnt beat Babalu he has no business fighting anybody..thats how bad I think he would maul him. He still has the potential to beat anybody if he ever gets his head on straight but who knows if that will ever happen

I agree, I dont think anyone can beat fedor at this point. I would really like to see fedor fight Brock or Randy. I think they are the only two heavy weights that could stand a chance. Either fight would be well worth the pay-per-view money.

Randy has no chance. Brock might could control him but he'd probably get subbed. Coleman did a good job controlling him till he got armbarred from the bottom. Brock would have to watch for the same thing. Fedor has the best hip movement from the bottom of any HW in the game.

Barnett has the best chance of any HW to beat Fedor. Anyone that thinks Josh isnt the real deal is an MMA noob. He had Big Nog in a world of hurt with that kneebar.. Nog was saved by the bell. Josh got lit up by Pedro Rizzo tho so his chin is just as suspect as Arlovski's. Lets not even talk about the CroCop fights.
