ive posted in the tech section here in the past few days and wondered why nobody has posted after me...

well, turns out im not getting any email notifications...

the box email notification is checked and my address hasnt changed, and the email in my profile is the correct one...

anyone else having these same problems?
 
Mine is working too good here. Make sure all your settings are correct and that you have clicked on making sure you are notified of posted replies. Let Bruce know if you have any further issues with it. thanks, Mark :D

the Email Notification Box is checked and i didnt recieve a email from TB.COM saying that you have posted.

i figured ya'll were getting those notifications because everyone else is replying so fast and im not recieving them....

hmmm

how do i get ahold of bruce?
 
i emailed someone at the "contact us" at the bottom of the screen last night and havent had a response...

still not recieving email notifications

It's been on and off for me for about 2-3 weeks. Not getting notification now. I haven't changed any of my settings. Also sometimes the whole board is down for me and I get a 'dead url' notice when I try to get on. WTF?
 
Tell you what. I will just shut board off while changes are taking place

What do you say we just shut the board down? Then maybe some of the complaining will stop. We put up explanations about what we are doing to combat this and I guess you do not read what is taking place. I think that is what is is going to come to. I am THE MOST available person on the earth. I will just shut it down , then we will see. I will bring it back up when I feel up to it. Maybe next December or so.

I try sooooo hard and all I get is complaints. Don't be surprised when you TRY to sign on and the board ain't there. Tbs would LOVE to have and accomidate you.

That is what i have and the server is NOT the problem this time. Some being fast and some being slow at times points to the connection and the traffic on that connection. This is not in our control. Try later when not that many people are on your provider.

dang Bruce, ill try not to be such a burden to you will my troubles concerning the board from now on.

i simply asked if anyone else is having these problems, but you seem to want to jump down my throat with your first post-

im sorry if i dont read every NEW STICKY every other day, that is my fault, i dont have the time to read since i also work 15 hour days this summer- plus work in the garage after work!!!

ill just use my USER CP and look at the threads that im posting on since i still am not getting those email notifications everyone else in KANSAS CITY using the KC.RR.COM email setup on digital roadrunner IS

UPDATE! As of 12:00am August5th
We are running on the new hardware. All should be well now. If any problems should arise please notify us immediatly. If it it working well, please advise us of this as well. All helpful comments are welcome.
Lets see what happens from here.

i let you know the problem, and you got all pissy :rolleyes:

that is my current email address, sometimes the pages download fast, sometimes they never do....
sometimes they take 40 seconds to download, and never show the post reply buttons/ arrows and such-

im still not getting any email notifications...

im not mad about it, just would like to have it back thats all-

You are probobly right. I am just sooo blasted frustrated. Believe me when I tell you I am trying my damndest to get this all worked out with the speed and all. As for your email notifications, we can Have Adam look into that. I am working 16hrs a day too and can relate. I did look tonight and it is on , so got me.:rolleyes:

The 3rd gear clutch pack i bought from you 2 years ago is slipping can i get my money back. Also somehow i lost 2 of my posts because i use to have 523 and now i have 521 so can i have credit for the ones YOU lost LOL;) ;) One more thing your board is slow Hehe Are you just about ready to fall on your sword yet because you seem a little on edge and about ready to tip over ;) ;) ;) Just checking ...

Hey Bruce -- man -- I didn't mean to tip over your apple cart and stuff. I think you should see all this concern as a positive thing and try to respond productively. After all, we all wouldn't be writing in about this stuff if we didn't care a lot about this board. Heck, we're bitching because we NEED and WANT this board! When we can't get on or don't get reply notifications, we DON'T just go away in frustration to tbs.com or elsewhere, we write in and bitch about it because we care. Now, OK, maybe we all could be more constructive, too. But most of us are too busy to read the stickies so we only notice when something's broke. Anyway, I'm glad you're working on it. Keep at it and do the best you can because in some silly way this cyber world of broke parts and turbos really matters. :)

I agree Matt. I am professional 99% of the time but then I just fall over that edge from time to time. I am human. Holy shiit, I just realized I am human, now at least I know why I am the way I am. LOL :D
I was just frustrated but one break through SINCE last night is that I FOUND the bottleneck . It is actually in the router at the server. They are looking into what failed as I write this.

What I wanted in here was help. Like , well, ahh, hey BT out here in Florida at 10:00 pm it is flying. or hey BT at 9:30 last night here in Amarillo Texas is was so slow I read the paper while it downloaded. Or Hey BT it worked well at 6:00 with 100 people on but with 50 people on at 8:00 it was dead slow.
I needed to know who and where and when these issues were happening to try to find a common denominator to cure. See the difference? Not a complaint fest. I want responses, good and bad, just not ones making it sound like I am jacking you guys off.
I just need some feedback from you all with wheres and whens not complaints. There is a difference and I think you understand what it is I am now saying. I am sorry if I "tilted" but again, I care.

I refuse to lose.......
