Anyone going to GN Vs. Mustang meet in Jersey?

November 2nd, starting at 9 am, there is the Buick Grand National versus Mustang meet at ATCO dragway. Some quick cars last year, but I'm hoping to see at least ONE hot air there...the only one to show last time was Herb and his 84 GN (god rest it's soul). Come on down and show off a little!

i may be there. i got work at the bar on sat till like 2:30, usually leave at 4 after i have a few but if i can get up at a reasonable time ill be there...

you gonn have your car there? i've only seen one other hotair in person.

Actually it's Ford Mustang vs Buick Shootout. That may seem like I'm cutting hairs but, I think all Buicks can participate. The Buick GN vs. Ford Event at Englishtown would not let the Opel run. I am planning on taking the Opel to Atco.

Atco is about 15 miles southeast of Philly across the Walt Whitman bridge.

I should be there with my Mustang...No racing....Just there to watch and enjoy.

WHERE WAS EVERYONE!!!???!!!

Not one single Hot air out of at least 30 turbo buicks! I was hoping to see one of our much talked about cars, but no one came! As Herb Promised, he was there with the newly purchased mustang, and I saw that FAST opel GT, but where were the Hot Airs?

i was there! with my car too! i asked herb if you were there but i never seen you, not that I know what u look like anyway. I had my car parked along the fence outside the pits. I was hoping to see your car there since I've only seen one other hotair car in person before.

oh and that opel is fast aint it!

My car?

I walked everywhere and I couldnt find one Hot air. I got there at around 11, and left at 4. My heart was broken that I didnt see one Hot Air...sniff sniff...lol. Sorry I missed ya. My car is work in progress. I just got herbs motor, and while I am on the college budget, the car is on cement blocks waiting a transplant. i was parked outside the pits in the general parking. I started over under the bleachers on the dirt then moved it over along the fence next to a few other GN's of people I knew. Why don't you come to the next MAGNA meeting?

What is MAGNA? Where are the meetings? When? Membership fee or anything? So far, I have kinda hid from the club scene being that my car is not running and all. I have only driven my car for 100 miles since october 2001...pathetic, I know, but cash is so tight, and things just got worse after the tranny went in 02. Car just sits waiting for a heart beat. Get me some info bout the club...maybe I can get to a meeting if I am not in school. thanks a bunch.

its the Mid Atlantic GN assoc. we meet once a month and BS, no fees or nuthin. If theres an event we usually go together. If you ever need a hand w/ anything theres usually a MAGNA member nearby to help ya out. send an email to mattdoom28@aol.com and he will send you a form to fill out to be a member, and like i said its FREE so do it!
