I have seen this on TV for a while. I am getting ready to retire from the military and need to copy hundreds of files from my service, medical and dental records. It is kinda expensive. About $400. If it works like it says....it may be worth it for me.

Try Neat

The software looks pretty good. Real business level scanners are well over $400 so maybe it's worth it for all the stuff you need to do.

WOW.....thats pretty 'NEAT' (pun intended) ... i might have to try one... especially for organizing expenses/receipts...... good catch

thks

You know you can pick up a printer/scanner/fax etc from Best Buy for $70 ? The compact one looks nice, but not for that kind of money.

I hate to sound getto, but buy it, scan your documents and send it back before your 30 days are up for a full refund !!

Dabigguy: Yup thought of that.

williamsGN: I have an all in one printer/scanner/fax. But when you are dealing with hundreds of documents.........this is when the good document feeder and both side scanning really makes a difference. Also this has the software that converts the documents and makes them searchable. If I could not do a search.....then it just become a large pile of electronics instead of a large pile of paper. I will need to find stuff in the future. Not sure if this is a good product or not but they make the software and the scanner. If I buy an all in one unit and separate software.....I don't know how well they work together. This company designs one for the other. And the simplicity is what I like. Would really like to find someone who has used one.
