Anyone have a "Tire MountMate" that I could borrow or rent?

This is the only sure way to maximize tire size and measure backspacing accurately w/o mounting them on wheels and hoping you got it right.

Here's a pic/description of it:

My '36 has an Explorer rear axle and 2" wider than stock fenders and air bag suspension so there's no book on it and no one to ask!

I asked a similar question on this idea a while ago. This is cool but you have to have the tires already which might put you in bind if no rim dimentions that are availible will work with those tires. I know I saw some tool similar to this that didn't use a tire. It was just a bolt on gauge and had ruled bars like that does to measure. Gave the max tire size and what rim sizes would work. It might have been of Hot Rod TV or Two Guys or some show like that. I have never seen it since.

I found one at a shop about an hour from me but I was hoping to find one to use and take it to a local buddy who owns a tire shop.

I have to tow the car either way and obviously the closer the better. I'll be experimenting with tires/rims until I come up with the right combination.

Anyone on TB.com (or the other sites) in the tire business?
