Hey guys, I dont know about the laws in your state but here in NY they try to fu@$@ anyway possible. My cedar siding is shot on my house and needs replacement. I dont like vinyl at all and would love to have stone half way up and natural cedar on the rest. BUT the problem is my taxes will go up if I use real stone or brick! Like the patio, if the stone is in cement taxes go up becuase it is considered part of the foundation! If the Brick is in sand, no tax increase! I have been looking at the fake stone and was wondering how good they are when it comes to quality, durability, insulation properties etc etc. I love real stone but dont want a $1500-$2000 increase in taxes per a year! so any of you guys have it? any comments welcomed!
thanks!
