and you're not kidding about those damn bugs. I've gotten back to GA from PCB and peeled them damn things off the front of my car like a sheet!!

Yeah - even glumpnig up the IC intake if you run a SLIC
I made a screen over my stretched IC shroud.
They all laughed about the bra - but they are all probably wishing they had a bought one for when they want to move to Florida! Too late! :D

Trying to remember who made these - but I'm pretty damned sure they are no mo'.
UPDATE:
Looks like Covercraft still sells them. $113 bucks - so my good deal? --Ummm..
Then I see LeBra sells them for like $68 bucks
EARL - Loan me some of that AnalEze you bought in the 55 gallon drum will you?
Go figure.
I thought they were long dead.
It's like the junkyard - some days I feel like a bank robber, some days I feel like I got plungered. ;)

I've seen bras on cars that can damage the paint, due to the small movement of air over the surface...makes it move up and down....sooner or later you'll notice very little scratches on your paint. Especially black paint. Ask me how I know.
The bra theory is terrific, but the scratches from constant movement will be inevitable......just try not to use it too much.....again, ask me how I know. Good deal there, though.

As for the bugs, you couldn't be more correct.....they are a bitch! I feel sorry for the poor bugs who have just watched "Attack of the Killer Windshield" at the drive-in, then leave to fly home....:wideyed:

Indeed.
As I said earlier, it is for the rare occasional use.
And the key to all of them if getting them to fit properly.
Once they fail to do so - it's time for a new one.
But it is really for the once or twice per year run where I know the bugs are out in full force.
There are sections of Florida, Central FL in particular, where they literally can cake the entire front.
But you know, between the damned car cover, me banging into it with the leaf blower while drying it off, the extension cord, the black paint gets more than enough beating! :(

That's good....only use it through bug country....not too much.....I've lived down in Florida for a while and very well know about those love bugs......I tried putting a big cardboard piece over the entire window to keep the bugs off the windshield, but, I got lost frequently. Hard to see for some reason.

But, HEY! I dry my car off the same way, a leaf blower.....you've got to be a little more careful there with it and the cord......put that big can of beer down, then try it....it might make a difference! At least it did for me..:D

Wow, I wouldnt have thought there would be any interest in these bra's as I found one in the trunk of a 87 I just bought. I'll have to throw it on a for sale thread of my own.
