That 2nd wire hanging down when plugged in is part of an advanced technology freon cooling system for the dual turbo system......

Kirban has one that looks a lot like yours. Have you checked their site?

Pretty sure that is the one that Kirban sells. Not sure who makes them for him. Looks just like the one I have that's been in the car since 96. BTW, that part that covers the spare tire should be tucked into the tire well not laying on the trunk carpet.

B48?

Don't see where anyone has asked but does the SPID label on the trunk lid list B48? I think that is the trunk trim covering option.

That doesn't look like the factory one to me. The option code is B48. Why I dont think its factory. I cant see it but there should be material glued to the inside of the hinge mounts. There should be a non-molded piece that is glued to the rear body panel to cover up the taillamp mounting nuts. That panel sits over the edge of the main floor mat and covers the edges. The main floor mat part was molded and should have a slick back to it. Like its covered in clear vinyl, sort of.

Edit: Find a pic of a eBay GNX auction. The B48 option was standard on a GNX. There are always plenty of pics of those auction listings.

i really like the way that looks. if i could find that kit i would buy it for sure. problem is i dont have any of the cardboard that covers the spare. do these kits come with the cardboard backing?

I took a look at my brothers trunk kit and he has the factory B48 option. His looks similar but the material on the GM kit is more of a lighter grey.

Well I looked at my trunk label and I do have B48. I guess it was factory installed. It looks nice, but seems like it will be a hastle if I want to install the Kirban seat braces.

It looks like 1 of ours. I recognize the spare tire section.
Kirban & I get our trunk carpets from the same manufacturer.
We were the ones that got them made in different colors besides Gray.
Black is our most popular seller then Blue would be next.
I need to install a tan 1 for our site. Didn't realize how hard it is to see a black carpet installed.
