Becareful with the boost control on the XFI, it is very tricky to set up, and I suggest you use wastegate analog 8 input method with a 0-100 psi sensor, and start with open loop mode. You almost need a hobb switch set at a high boost over 30 psi NC contact to never overboost again.

Yes, Weber can build a reliable motor capable of the power level you are looking for. However, it takes alot more than just a powerful engine to attain this goal. You'll also need the rest of the driveline and suspension, and a good tune to be up for the task. I have a Weber built engine and have been adding other items, turbo and converter, to hopefully make a solid pass at the times you mentioned in the next few weeks.

I already have the goodies, got scorpion roller rockers, lifters, etc., 9" art carr contverter and built tranny (heat treated input drum & other goodies), tubular suspension, aluminum GN1s, port matched to heads ta performance intake/plenum/rails, fast, 160lb per hour injectors, Precision 71HPQ billet wheel full ball bearing turbo at 30psi, g7x dual in tank racetronix pump assembly, built 9" with TA girdle, 70mm throttle body, Alky, frontmount, 3 1/2 THDP, wideband, custom ground billet cam...hopefully I dont need more.

Thanks, I hadnt even thought of using a Hobbs switch as a secondary failsafe. I will have help setting the boost control, solenoid is 0-120 psi.

You can also use aux out 2 to ground a relay using the NC contact to open power to the boost solenoid, but it will only be limited to the max kpa in the map, not above your map, if you have 4-5 bar map it might work
