Is the Art Carr "N" stall a streetable converter? Does anybody drive regularly with this converter? Is the slipage minimal as far as being efficient. Thanks

Mine works pretty well but I don't put on a lot of street miles. It seems to stall a little higher in reverse  .It moves without revving to 3k if that helps.

The n stall is great on driveablilty. 65mph on the highway was about 2800rpm at steady throttle. Trans temps stayed under 140. As soon as you go 70+, trans temps slowly creep up. This was my best n/l convertor for driveablity. It just really hurt my ET which is why it came out and my UCC convertor went back in.

Why did it hurt your et
He lost a lot of mph on the top. His 60' did improve though. Maybe a little less gear and a higher boost launch would have netted a better et with that particular converter.
