First, to all of you already in BG, I'm completely jealous...BUT...I'll see ya there on Saturday!!! :biggrin:

OK...now the real reason for the post. Surely you might remember a post I did a while back where my father in law and I got into pretty bad and he put my GN down something horrible saying hubby's Camaro would no doubt beat me at the track...WELL, we took Kyle's car to the track this past Tuesday...and good ol' father in law didn't have two words to say when the Camaro ran a 14.73 then a 14.69. Launch was good, no tires spinning or anything. The ONLY thing he could argue was that the tires are crap...but even with good ones, that ain't gonna put it in the 12's.
I just smiled...as the stock GN's there were running mid 13's...lol
I don't even feel the need to take mine down the track to prove the point anymore.
Thanks guys, for all the support though, can't wait to see ya in BG...stop and say hi if you happen to recognize me!!! :biggrin:

Sure had a good time yesterday! I got to meet V8Assassin and found Nelson Febus too...also met some other Buick guys (unsure if they're on here)...nice group ya'll are...very helpful!!!!
Going to try to make it to Ohio here in a couple weeks...we'll see, car will be done about that time too. :biggrin:

I had a chance to meet Lee as well, he's a class act. Very nice guy! I wouldn't worry too much about the Iroc, or any other 11-14 sec cars. You won't be seeing them except for in the rearview with the combo we were talking about. You should bring your dad in law to Norwalk and let him watch the little ole V6's. I doubt he'll ever say a bad word again!!!

Thanks! So I'm a (at least) half way decent looking woman, who can cook, AND who has a fast car...gosh, my hubby is one lucky guy!!! LMAO!!! I just noticed too that I've been upgraded to "senior member"...yey!!! I feel all important now...lol :tongue:

I bet you are lighter that your hubby. You should of made a pass and went faster that him to add insult to injury. I would have made a scene blaming the people in the tower and the clocks for being wrong. That's just me, I tend to rub things in...:biggrin:
