roller rockers

Did the rockers have different offsets for the M&A heads? Look like the same ones from the GN1 heads from Tom@champion.

M&A heads used a Ford 1.6 rocker when we shipped them. The Guideplates are special for M&A, the studs are Big Block Chevy. That is a great deal for a very good head.

M&A heads (old subject)

Thanks for the info Mike, I was just looking at the pics of the rockers that go with the heads for sale and noticed the middle rocker in the bottom line-up has the offset. Should be 4 offset left, 2 offset right, and 6 centered. My eyes are still good! He also has them numbered leading me to know these are the offset set from Scorpion Tom sells. Believe me if I didn't have a set already, I would be all over these! Bump for a good deal

I think thats the picture there was no offset in the original rockers for the M&A head.

Are the heads still available? Thread is a little dated. Any issues with putting a 14 bolt head on a 109 block?

No problems with non-stage 14 bolt heads on 109 block. I have a set of 14 bolt Champion heads on my 109.

M&A heads won't work on a 109 without a bore notch. M&A heads were designed to fit an engine with a 4" bore. They use a small block 1.94 intake valve. The valve guide and seat is offset to accomodate a larger intake valve . They are great heads but take some work to fit properly on a 109. I learned the hard way..:)

sounds like the perfect excuse to build a 4.1 engine!
