Lonnie Diers wanted me to post this here.

Over the weekend, Cincinnati was hit hard with a wind storm. Gusts up to 80 mph has created a lot of damage around the city and the outskirts of town. Power, phone, and cable service is still out for more than 3/4 of the area. Lonnie's house and shop have been without electric and phone service (as well as internet) since the weekend. There is no telling when both will be restored. Duke (the local gas and electric company) has warned that area could be out until next week:eek:

So, if you are trying to contact him, you will not be able to until the utilities are restored.

Thanks!

I know he is looking some A/C by now;)

HAHA, actually we got lucky because it's only been in the 70's since Sunday:) I'm even luckier because my power was only out for a day. Of course I live closer to the city than he does....this is the only benefit of living where I do lol.

How is he keeping his beer cold? Well maybe a cooler with ice:D

Buy a generator cheap ass:D

Good luck finding gas, ice or a generator around here now:eek:
The bad thing here is that the gas and electric company sent most of their crews down to Texas to help out there. So when we needed them up here, we were SOL.
This country would not survive if all of it's power was out for a week or two. Scary stuff.

Thanks

Appreciate the heads up so if you do happen to talk with him have him get hold of me when he can Thanks.

It is crazy in cincy right now. You feel like you hit gold when you find a restaurant that has power and food for sale. My hour lunches are taking two now.

Yeah it's crazy. I was on Dixie Highway in Erlanger, KY today. The first half of the street was without power, a mile down the road it had power. All the fast food joints that were open had lines out on the street.

Best wishes to Lonnie and any other member effected.

Lonnie!

hope your ok, and your beer is cold!
speak up when you get a chance.

We must have passed each other... I'm in Erlanger and that area everyday now.

Sounds like they got the remains of Hurricane Ike. It was a hell of a storm.
