I am not sure which turbo to use for my application.
Its narrowed down to the ball bearing versions of the te60/te44/5857
I am looking to use a 2600 stall that I already purchased.
I will not be using alky injection, and the engine will be stock minus an Edelbrock Cam (204/214 duration-0.448/0.472 lift) / injectors / turbo tweak chip.
The te60 seems like it would want more stall?
The te44 is older technology compared to the 5857 ... BUT the 5857 is $300 more than the te44 , is it worth it?
Looks like the Turbonetics te44 is "big shaft" ... is the te60? Whats the difference ... is the big shaft just more durable?
If you have other suggestions , I'm all ears. ( I think I talked myself into going 3" dp too ... with 38mm external wastegate ... for boost control )
Thanks for your advice
