does any one have any suggestions for selling a master series toolbox? unfortunately my job provided uniform boxes through out the service department and they made us take all of them out. I have two snap on boxes and don't have the space in my house any more. got it in 2008 and its still pristine. I have tried ebay and craigslist but I always seem to attract scammers. any input would be awesome.

Master series KRL 1022 with work station and over head cabinet. Candy Apple red

I got pictures if you like me to email them to you. It is a nice box and I have taken care of it over the years

what will the guy on the truck you bought it from give you for it?

just googled the model number- holy shit... you paid that much for a tool box???

I tried dealing with the franchise trucks but no luck. I tired to work out a deal with the sales guys for half the money and tools but no dice. Yeah those boxes become expensive really fast

Get on garagegazzette.com and garagejournal.com
Can't guarantee top dollar but there are serious buyers there.
I like that series. Good for a lifetime.

set up like this is what I have and man it's heavy

Everyone I know with one has a rollback come and move it. Just way easier than trying to load and unload it yourself.

if he's got wall to wall truck branded tool boxes, then he's easily got $40k in boxes alone... then it takes $100k in matching truck branded tools to make them look like they actually serve a purpose..

people go into enough debt to pay for a house and are always broke because of the payments for those boxes and tools, and no one's ever been able to convince me how they are any better than a mid line Craftsman box filled with Craftsman Professional tools..

yea im sure your 100% right.. ive never seen such a collection of tools and boxes. the snapon truck alone has got to be worth a pretty penny with all those tools

Snap does make nice stiff. Overpriced maybe but their ratchets feel.different. I used to think there was no diff till I.did a long project ising snap on...

Yup tools are definitely not cheap any more. Especially when you got to buy the diagnostic equipment it can all add up

I make the snap on man move my masters series box. He's gonna have to do it again in a couple weeks though its just across the rock parking lot...bought mine used for less money than the largest available craftsman professional box which was actually smaller. I'm actually pissed that its the deeper model because the f*in' thing won't fit through any doorways, but when you pay under 50% of new you kinda take what you find. I had the money in savings or I wouldn't have done it either. I swear to god i will still own and use that box till I die (just turned 30). I can't outgrow it.

Back to topic, ebay with a buy it now at a fair price will get the most exposure from real buyers
