Black Bilstein shocks available!!!

Found a distributor of Bilstein that carrys "Black" shocks. I just ordered a set of fronts in black...little pricey $79 each but not yellow and blue!

I'm confused? Why wouldn't you want yellow if you spent a ton of money in suspension upgrades? Yellow is a lot easier to see if they are leaking oil which as a racer is what I look for in a pre race inspection. And aint nobody going to pay attention if you want the stock look of black. You cant see the shocks unless you get down on your knees anyway. You'll be penalized if you have a show car and they aint stock anyway. Its a good thing they are the same price as the yellows. I'd be making a bigger stink if they did cost more.

I saw this thread and was thinking what is this talk of black bilstein shocks all about.

They make spray paint in various colors and it wouldn't take any amount of time to paint them before installing,what ever color you choose.Black,yellow,white,red,blue. :biggrin:

I wuz gonna paint mine pink, along with the rest of the car, to make it look like a Mary Kay Regal.:biggrin: I think Day-Glo Green would be cool.......they would compliment my "Whistle Tip" exhaust...........wooooo-WOOOOO!

As much as these Buick V6's leak oil.........don't the shocks turn black pretty quick anyway? Now, If I can get a set of QA1's black anodized...............

I guess if I had to choose between yellow or black, I would go with black. Thanks for the heads up. I didn't know that Bilstein was doing that.
