We just now have these available. We have an introductory price that is good until Friday October 25th 2011. Recently this company we use that normally wraps huge vehicles as been doing other projects for our company. In the last 6-8 months a new black scotchprint carbon fiber material has become available that is easy to work with and really looks good when properly applied to a product. Image is crisp and laminated to protect the material from sun fade and is chemical resistent.

We have them in stock. Our part number is #7343 and the special price until Oct 25th 4 pm 20011 is just $39.95 for the pair plus shipping. Most hood shocks have white printing on the outer shell or a label, with this process you get a nice "rich" appearance. We will have them available a Bowling Green as well.

If you need to see a photo email me direct denniskirban@yahoo.com I can email you a photo along side a stock one. Black carbon is difficult to produce in a photo and I lack the skills to post the photo here.

Be sure to stop by our vendor spot at Bowling Green and see the two trick" items I made for Richard Clark.

I may have MR AMC GUY post photo here later.

Appreciate the compliments we are going to do the C6 Corvette next and also the new 2010 and up Camaro both of which are good markets for us....the camaro one takes one and its like 29 inches long.....weird thing is that hood shock from GM reails for under $30....

GM's logic escapes me.....

Just went to the web site to buy a pair and the part # 7343 took me to the stock units.

I then searched using "carbon fiber" but alas, there was no result.....

L'il help?

It will be on our website later tonite #7343 is the correct part number and they are in stock. We are making minor changes as these hood shocks actually fit 1982-1987 Regals not just the 1984-1987 models.

They really look good....

Dennis how is the pattern attached to the shock body? Are these hydro-dipped or hand installed? Any seams?

The seam is positoned in the back of each shock and even it the seam wasn't it is not noticeable the material is that good. the girl who does them using a heat process to secure the wrap to the parts...this stuff will even stick to dirty concrete on the floor..its amazing..

I just struck a deal with James Ibusuki and will have on display at the GS nats a neat thing I did with his well known GNX artwork...
