I just replaced my turn signal switch with a new one. I guess the new switch is a little stiffer than the old one. The problem is the metal arm that links the turn signal switch with the blinker stalk. The metal arm pops off the stalk lever assembly before it turns the signal switch.

I bent the arm slightly which keeps it from popping out. However, the signal switch moves for left blinker, but won't apply enough force to engage the right blinker.

Any help would be appreciated before I jump on the hood and pee on my car in disgust.

If you've got the time call me tomorrow Don. Please do it later in the afternoon. I'm a little backed up on work right now.:(

Add some WD 40 to the blinker fluid. That should free things up, a bit....

Damn, Chuck! You solved his problem!!!!! And mine, too!! All this time I've been adding the WD 40 to the headlight fluid!
Thanks!!
