Okay... believe that if you want to. That car must have a factory Saturn,Kia or Yugo muffler. LOL

I picked up 3 hp when i opened the exhaust on my blue car. It had about 470whp before and about 473whp after. This was early this year with the same combo i have been beating on with the 6176 and various other turbos. Another car with a lot more power was also tested this way and picked up about 6hp. If the ex was a POS i could see this test showing huge gains otherwise not much at all.

my car seems to run worse with dump open. seems to flatten out in power

I'm considering using the volt booster which was on the TR when I bought it & wiring it to a relay to open the cutout. Use a switch in the ashtray area to disable it or let it activate automatically, also the switch which is included in the cutout kit can be used for manual operation.

Using the volt booster can eliminate the controversy about them & cost is low. I've had no issues with the volt booster, however, I still need to get the alcohol installation completed.

So a 3in single shot vs cutout at end of DP at same boost level. All we can expect is 3whp?

I dont know if I really believe that number gain. It's really easy to "trick" a dyno into reading a higher number.

Same here..
