Boosting with Vacume brakes

I just heard a neat trick to boost are cars up with vacume disk brakes out back...Put a PCV valve in backwards on the main vacume line!!..I haven't tried it yet but my buddie's 10.5 GN has.He's said he had massive brake peddle while boosting up to launch, Me Next Me Next

There's already a check valve at the booster. Would a second one really matter that much?
